Blood Type O

At Middle Age Eating what you did at 20 doesn't work, Find Out Why and how to fix itBlood Type O was the first blood type, and they have a higher amount of stomach acid than the other blood types, which often results in stomach irritation and ulcers. O’s profile, (from ancestral canny aggressive predator) is exhibited in society today with leadership, extroversion, energy and focus. They can be powerful and productive, however, when stressed Type O’s response can be one of anger, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. When type O wiring gets crossed, as a result of poor diet, lack of exercise, unhealthy behaviors or elevated stress levels, Type O’s are more vulnerable to negative metabolic effects, including insulin resistance, sluggish thyroid activity, and weight gain. When you customize your life to type O’s strengths you can reap the benefits of your ancestry. Your genetic inheritance offers you the opportunity to be strong, lean, productive, long-lived, and optimistic.

Polyflora is especially designed to deliver therapeutic levels of blood type specific probiotics (bacteria) and and growth media (prebiotics).  Especially made different, and special, for each blood types, best digestive health. Consumption of lactic acid bacteria, or food cultured or fermented with these friendly microorganisms, does extend life  in animal experiments, and drastically reduces a wide range of intestinal metabolites, such as indoles,  poly-amines, cresols, nitrates/nitrites, and carcinogens, which we now know are counterproductive to optimum health.

Even using strains of  friendly bacteria that have a great ability to survive digestion and colonize your digestive tract, there is a tendency for a gradual decline in the quantity of bacteria over time. This decline is substantially worsened by stress, poor dietary choices, antibiotics, and other drugs.

The type O’s diet should focus on lean, organic meats, along with vegetables, and fruits. Type O’s should avoid wheat and dairy products, which can be triggers for digestive and health issues such as sluggish thyroid activity and weight gain. Cutting out caffeine and alcohol, can also be helpful for type O’s. O’s derive more pleasure and satisfaction from physical activity, than other blood types, making physical activity a key component of both physical and mental balance for them.

N Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) . N Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) is a sulfur-containing (sulfhydryl) amino acid which is present in many proteins, and is in the same class as the amino acid methionine. NAC is a naturally occurring amino sugar and is a form of cysteine which has been demonstrated to facilitate the cellular detoxification of alcohol, tobacco smoke, acetaminophen poisoning and environmental pollutants in several in vitro studies. NAC has been used for about thirty years to break up mucus in persons having bronchopulmonary diseases including chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, asthma, sinusitis and pneumonia. . NAC helps reduce the viscosity of mucus so that it may be more easily coughed up. NAC accomplishes this by converting the disulfide bonds of the mucoproteins into sulfhydryl bonds and cleaving the mucoproteins into smaller molecules. Another area of interest is that research has pinpointed a specific lipoprotein called Lp(a) as one of the two most reliable indicators of heart disease risk. The other reliable indicator is the level of vitamin E in the blood. Lp(a) is a much more reliable indicator than blood cholesterol level, low density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein or their ratios to each other. . Recent research has found that NAC is the most effective nutrient known to lower Lp(a) levels. NAC reduces Lp(a) by almost 70%. NAC can have supportive effects in the reduction of side effects or enhancement of therapeutic activity for a variety of drugs.

Live Cell O (Sprouted Food Complex)

60 Veggiecaps per bottle. One capsule two to four times daily Description/Background Live Cell takes the work out of this process by providing an appropriate array of “beneficial” sprouts for each ABO blood type in a capsule form. These live sprouts are actually freeze-dried at the height of their growth, a process that preserves all of their nutritional value. In a busy world where even health conscious people often don’t have or don’t take the time to consume adequate amounts of vegetables much less sprouts, Live Cell offers a convenient way to do so. According to an article in “Good Sprout News” (20 July 2003), scientists have been studying sprouts for centuries to better understand their high levels of disease-preventing phytochemicals and how they contribute to better health, from prevention to treatment of life-threatening diseases. The benefits of sprouts have been reinforced by ongoing studies that explore various sprout varieties for their nutritional properties and to validate health claims. These ongoing studies are being done by major organizations, which include the National Institutes of Health, American Cancer Society, and Johns Hopkins University. Paul Talalay, MD, in the American Cancer Society News, “broccoli sprouts are better for you than the full-grown broccoli, and contain more of the enzyme sulforaphane which helps protect cells and prevents their genes from turning into cancer.” His findings are consistent with several epidemiological studies that have shown that sprouts contain significant amounts of vitamins A, C, and D. Sprouts are widely recognized by nutrition conscious consumers and health care professionals as a “wonder food.” Live Cell contains cruciferous and non-cruciferous sprouts (cruciferous relates to plants that have flowers with four petals in the shape of a cross and long narrow seed pods. For example, crucifers include cabbages, turnips, broccoli, and wallflowers). Cruciferous sprouts are a rich source of active sulforaphanes, glucosinolates (glucoraphanin is a glucosinolate), and antioxidants. Sulforaphane and glucosinolate are actually related and are found as naturally occurring antioxidants in cruciferous vegetables. Sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS) is actually the precursor to sulforaphane, and SGS functions as an indirect antioxidant. As such, SGS does not directly neutralize free radicals as do direct antioxidants like vitamins E, C, and beta-carotene. Indirect antioxidants induce (or boost) the Phase 2 liver detoxification enzymes. According to Dr. Talabay on staff at Johns Hopkins University, “These enzymes act as a defense mechanism, triggering broad spectrum antioxidant activity that neutralizes many free-radicals, cycling over and over again before they can cause the cell damage that may cause mutations, leading to cancer.” Furthermore, Dr. Talalay says that the effects of these indirect antioxidants remain even after they have left the body – unlike direct antioxidants, which neutralize only one molecule of a radical at a time, and are destroyed in the process. The indirect antioxidants are long-lasting, triggering an ongoing process that continues to be effective and may last for days.

I hope you learned from reading this. I have a friend who is 64 or so, and she was eating quinoa like crazy. She was constipated….Grains do not necessarily work for blood type O. She found she is very sensitive to all gluten, and went to an osteopath, who opened her energy field, and then placed gluten products on her stomach. Her whole body hurt when he placed them there, and when they were removed her energy was fine. PLEASE when you get constipated… something is not working for you, try a different tactic. The quinoa and spelt and other things are only neutral. Try the sprouted grains breads, Essene (Manna) Bread, this is the only highly beneficial bread. You may look at the the paleo diet and without “gluten” grains you could fine tune with the blood type diet. Try and Try and Try, your body will let you know what works. LISTEN!

I tried everything transitioning through menopause. I have come to learn, my adrenals were over taxed, and hormonally I was out of control and stressed. Getting back in rhythm, with my body, took time and persistence. I know it seems radical, and one eating plan, may not work for another person. I have never found anything else that releases my stress and makes me feel like my old self, like this.
