Why do I use turkey sausage instead of pork? Turkey is a universally digestible protein.
12-14 oz of Jimmy Dean crumbled turkey sausage
1 cup fresh chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup of chopped broccoli that has been steamed from frozen
1/4 cup milk, I used almond milk
1 cup shredded cheese For Blood Type A chopped Feta works wonderfully.
1/2 cup sliced green onions.
2 tsp of olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Cook sausage, and mushrooms in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently.
2. Beat eggs, almond milk in a large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in sausage mix, chopped broccoli, cheese and green onion. You can use a teflon muffin pan, and spray olive oil, without using liners, or line cupcake pans with parchment paper. Spoon mixture evenly into the muffin cups.
3. Bake 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
