1 package of fresh Broccoli florets, or two heads of broccoli florets, cut into smaller pieces
1/3 Cup of Chopped red onion
1/2 Cup of Raisins. (I leave these out and eat at another time-I don’t eat fruits and vegetables together)
1/2 Cup of Mayonnaise or light Mayonnaise
1 Tbs Cider Vinegar
as little sugar as possible up to 1/4 cup.
Mix dressing ingredients together in a bowl, and toss with vegetables above.
Sulforophanes are so important for cancer prevention and good digestion. Red onions provide quercetin another anti-inflammatory. The turkey casserole also had onions. My goal is to eat onions, or apples at least once a day. Both have quercetins.
