Turkey Casserole

This recipe was originally Chicken with less chicken and if you are low carb, it is not satisfying. It also had 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, and adjusting your recipes for low salt, and low fat can be done. It also had another dairy product, that is not necessary for this recipe for those who are lactose intolerant, or if milk products aggravate your allergies, nasal passages swell, and chest wheezes ( my issues with milk and milk products)

 

1 Roasted turkey breast Chopped into cubes, you need about 4 cups of chopped turkey

1 package chopped spinach thawed

1 onion chopped (you may want to saute your chopped onions in a little olive oil-leave them partially opaque)

3 garlic chopped

2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (my one exception for eating cheddar cheese)

1 can of cream of mushroom soup (low sodium cream of mushroom soup works too.)

1/4 cup mayonnaise.

Mix together, and pour in a 9×13 baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes, till bubbling.
