The new pain was unbearable and very familiar to me. My father had sciatica and could not walk past the age of 70 and his mother had sciatica and could not walk past the age of 70. Both ended up in nursing homes. My grandmother for 20 years. My father caught pneumonia and died after 2 years.
Two of my cousins died before the age of 70. The doctor asked the last one, does Lou Gehrig’s run in your family? I had taken a carrier test and knew I have the gene. One other cousin has Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia. All these conditions are caused by a polymorphism of the MTHFR gene. Once we feed our body the nutrients it needs, we can feel fit at any age.

Our family carries the MTHFR gene. I was born with it. What I have learned is, by not finding your best food, you can create it and manifest some of the symptoms mentioned above. My 84 year old husband had dirtied his MTHFR gene, and is progressively having a harder time walking. Keeping our metabolic systems running is the purpose of this website, course, coaching and all.
