The Phloxicin, has Boswellia and L-Histidine here For the magic anti-inflammatory
Now, researchers at Cardiff University are investigating its properties to decrease inflammation and other symptoms of the condition. The researchers were influenced by the nearby Somali community who have long-used frankincense extracts as a treatment for both rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. According to their lore, frankincense decreases the pain of this condition and the researchers wondered if it was, perhaps, a natural anti-inflammatory. The university researchers used innovative chemical extraction techniques to determine the active ingredient in the rare form of the frankincense – Boswellia frereana – that the Somali use. They found that the frankincense worked by inhibiting the production of key inflammatory molecules that breakdown cartilage tissue which causes the arthritis.
